UNH College of Professional Studies is seeking a dynamic and qualified educator to teach in our dual enrollment program with the NH Virtual Learning Academy Charter School. This adjunct faculty will deliver high-quality college-level instruction to high school students enrolled in the UNH CPS early college program, preparing them for postsecondary success while earning both high school and college credit.
Duties/Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and rigorous instruction aligned with both high school and college-level standards.
Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and academic growth.
Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, presentations, and examinations in accordance with university policies.
Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance in accordance with both high school and college policies.
Participate in periodic departmental meetings and professional development opportunities; provide feedback to improve course offerings and student outcomes.
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
Master’s degree appropriate for the discipline of the UNH dual enrollment course
Valid NH teacher licensure in the relevant subject area.
Experience teaching high school students in an online asynchronous course deliver model.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching in a concurrent credit/early college program.
Experience teaching online asynchronous college-level courses.
