EKG Technician - PAMC EKG

Under supervision performs electrocardiographic exams using a variety of ECG equipment and procedures. Performs stress testing using both exercise and pharmacologic modalities. Performs transcription of all dictated ECG interpretations. Assists in maintaining patient information/billing logs and electronic databases. Assists ECG Dept supervisor in carrying out transfers/merges within electronic storage database

Hours: Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable Shift, Hours Per Week are as needed

Required Qualifications:
- upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 1 year Patient care experience in an acute care setting.
- Experience in operating standard office equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years Experience in ECG/Stress ECG in an acute hospital care setting.
- ECG transcription experience.
- ICD10 coding experience.
- Experience maintaining electronic patient database.
