Description
Odyssey House is seeking a Director of Outreach and Client Engagement to join our Admissions team!
Summary: The Outreach Director at Odyssey House is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing outreach initiatives to promote community engagement and awareness of Odyssey House behavioral health programs and services. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with community partners, managing outreach staff, and ensuring the successful execution of outreach campaigns. Additionally, the Outreach Director will oversee the Client Engagement team to ensure exceptional service and client satisfaction. The Outreach Director will work closely with the leadership team to align outreach strategies with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Location: Salt Lake City
Compensation: $80,000/salary
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 9 am - 5 pm - With flexibility for conferences/events (Occasional weekends are required)

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive outreach strategies to increase community awareness and engagement with Odyssey House behavioral health programs and services.
- Community Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and local organizations to promote collaboration and support for Odyssey House.
- Program Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of outreach programs and events, ensuring they meet the organization's goals and objectives.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and support the outreach team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. Oversee the Client Engagement team to ensure exceptional service and client satisfaction.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the outreach department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with organizational priorities.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of outreach initiatives, and use findings to inform future strategies.
- Public Relations: Act as a spokesperson for Odyssey House, representing the organization at community events, conferences, and meetings.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on outreach activities, achievements, and challenges to the appropriate staff.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Social Work, Behavioral Health, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in community outreach, public relations, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Relevant experience in the behavioral health field is required.
