Job Description
Come work with a team of professionals dedicated to excellence at Coffman Engineers. We are seeking a Senior Cathodic Protection Engineering Lead with at least eight years of experience in our Anchorage office who wants to work and grow as a team player within our multi-discipline firm. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic as well as experience collaborating in a team environment.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Performing Cathodic Protection Surveys for various structures (pipelines, docks, etc.) and preparing reports
- Performing Close Interval Surveys, data analysis and preparing reports
- Locating pipelines and performing depth of cover surveys
- Preparing cathodic protection system remediation recommendations
- Preparing cathodic protection system designs including drawings, specifications, and materials selections
- Overseeing cathodic protection installations
Qualifications
- NACE CP3 or CP4 Certification
- 8+ years cathodic protection field and design experience
- Oil and gas, DOD and water/wastewater cathodic protection experience preferred
- Ability to travel, perform field work, and work overtime
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets Coffman’s stringent requirements
- Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) or eligibility to obtain a TWIC
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance
- Exceptional organization, writing and communication skills
