Senior Cloud Engineer

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GCP services and technologies, as well as experience in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions. This position will have remote/hybrid flexibility but the ideal candidate will be located in proximity to our Herndon, VA, Colorado Springs, CO, Tampa, FL or Ogden, UT office. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Designing, implementing, and managing GCP solutions for customers
• Working with customers to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Developing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Configuring and managing GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL
• Implementing security best practices for GCP solutions
• Monitoring and troubleshooting GCP solutions
• Staying up-to-date on the latest GCP services and technologies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 10+ years Software or Cloud/On-Prem Infrastructure Engineering experience
• 5+ years experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or Amazon Web Services 
• Experience with IaC automation using Terraform
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions
• Experience with DevOps practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance. 

Desired Qualifications: 

• At least one Google Cloud Professional Certification
• Experience working with customers in the U.S. Public Sector
• Active U.S. Federal Government security clearance  

The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000.00 - $190,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
