Travel Required: 5 Boroughs, LI, Westchester (if necessary) Hourly
Work Schedule: Weekends, occasionally weekdays
Position Summary: The Staff Trainer/SCIP-R Instructor is responsible for delivering designated crisis intervention training to Community Services, Education, and Administrative Staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Facilitate Crisis Intervention training for internal program staff.
Participate in SCIP-R training program maintenance and development as necessary.
Participate in all activities required for re-certification of Instructor status
Complete all agency mandatory training requirements
Monitor and Report Progress toward project goals
All other tasks as required by the department Director.
QualificationsPosition Requirements:
Hold and maintain valid OPWDD issued SCIP-R Instructor Certification
Hold and maintain valid CPR Certification
Ability to use relevant computer software
Ability to interact with diverse groups of stakeholders
