You’ll help shape our visual style, mentor other junior artists, and ensure our graphics are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with our educational goals.</p><p dir="ltr"><strong></strong><br/></p><h4>If you want to be part of a team that's redefining the future of education, we’d love to hear from you!</h4><h2>What you’ll do</h2><ul> <li>Produce high-quality, recognizable artwork aligned with our brand identity.</li> <li>Adapt effectively to the established visual style, including color palette, shapes, and character expressions/poses.</li> <li>Ensure alignment of all artwork with the visual guidelines defined by the Art Director.</li> <li>Understand and anticipate usability needs for interactive products designed for children, applying this knowledge to visual design.</li> <li>Manage time effectively and respect deadlines to prevent bottlenecks in the workflow.</li> <li>Foster clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams to uphold usability, gameplay, and educational standards.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with fellow artists and production teams to ensure smooth workflows and prevent bottlenecks or downtime.</li> <li>Guide and supervise other junior colleagues or those without previous professional experience.</li> <li>Maintain organized asset libraries, folders, and character documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.</li> <li>Promote inclusivity and educational awareness through visual storytelling, reflecting diversity and social consciousness in all designs.</li> <li>Act as a reference point for the proper use of characters and visual assets across the company.</li> </ul><h2>What you’ll bring</h2><ul> <li>5+ years of experience as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer or 2D Artist in the creative or gaming industry, ideally working on children-focused products or interactive content.</li> <li>Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent industry-standard tools).</li> <li>Proven track record of creating high-quality, stylised, and recognisable character designs and graphics.</li> <li>Strong style adaptability: ability to follow and maintain a consistent visual style in line with existing art direction.</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering polished, production-ready artwork.</li> <li>Strong empathy and communication skills: able to collaborate with product, UX, engineering, and education teams.</li> <li>Comfortable giving and receiving structured feedback, conducting performance reviews, and mentoring team members.</li> <li>Natural problem-solver with a positive and proactive mindset.</li> <li>Organised and self-managed, able to juggle multiple projects while supporting the broader team.<br/></li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>English is a must: </strong>We’re a multicultural team providing a service in <strong>English</strong>, so while certifications aren’t necessary, fluency is essential.
