Manager, Maintenance

- Ensure maximum efficient operations of facilities and equipment, as well as the care of all grounds and support equipment, through the direction of technical support staff and outside technical and non-technical support services. Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
Responsibility
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce equipment failures and improve efficiency.
Oversee maintenance and repair of CNC machines, robotics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other machining equipment.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance technicians to optimize performance and skill development.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety regulations, implementing best practices for workplace safety.
Manage spare parts inventory, working with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of maintenance supplies.
Monitor and analyze machine downtime, implementing corrective actions to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes to enhance reliability and reduce costs.
Plan and execute equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and compliance documentation using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure maintenance activities align with operational goals.
Identify and resolve recurring maintenance issues using root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
Optimize maintenance schedules to minimize disruptions to production while maximizing equipment uptime.
Manage the maintenance budget, tracking costs and identifying areas for savings without compromising reliability.
Collaborate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance and facility upgrades.
Academic/Educational Requirements
Completion of university degree or college program in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years managerial experience.
Required Skills/Experience
Strong knowledge of machinery, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in maintenance management software and tools.
Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Capable of working under pressure and handling emergency situations.
