Centrally located within the heart of California, Adventist Health Tulare has been serving the Central Valley since 2018. We are comprised of a 108-bed acute care hospital, emergency department and provide primary and specialty care services to best serve our community. Tulare is situated in a delightful and geographically diverse region. Job Summary:
Coordinates the supply chain effort with affiliate organizations as assigned. Collaborates with procurement executives and department heads in affiliate organizations to create a supply chain improvement plan designed to reduce supply and equipment expenditures, and improve supply chain efficiencies. Implements initiatives and the supply chain improvement plan. Has substantial understanding of techniques, processes, procedures to perform the job and seeks to complete tasks in creative and effective ways. Works on activities of a diverse scope requiring minimal interpretation of policies and guidelines.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
- Five years' relevant experience: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Monitors material inventory and places orders when necessary. Ensures accuracy and organization of inventory.
- Provides supply analysis data and recommendations. Collaborates with leadership to analyze and recommend material needs. Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Assists in creation of supply chain improvement plans designed to reduce supply and equipment expenditures and improve supply chain efficiencies. Implements initiatives and targets put forth in the supply chain improvement plan.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
