Job Description

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY/SUPPORT:

• To serve as a member of the ITW Medical team in producing class II medical devices for distribution to our customers worldwide.
• To ensure every device is completed according to all Manufacturing Instructions and Operating Procedures.
• To practice and encourage courtesy and helpfulness among all team members.
• To become fully trained in all areas of the work that is performed in specific production area.
• Ensure compliance to all safety programs and applicable OSHA standards.
• Perform required housekeeping and organizing.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To learn the specific duties required as a Team Lead:
  • Communicate goals and deadlines to team members.
  • Execute performance reviews for production associates at the defined timeframes.
  • Create a productive work environment by planning and implementing operating procedures, meeting production schedules, and delegating tasks.
  • Assist training employees.
  • Assist with the daily operation of the organization.
  • Complete all payroll and attendance requirements within the allowed timeframe.
  • Execute appropriate disciplanary actions through company policies.

Qualifications

Educational Level

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Comprehension/Reasoning Skills

• This position requires the ability read and comprehend Operating Instructions and Manufacturing Specifications for the work performed.
• Ability to read and understand instructions for database input and report output.
• Ability to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with all functional levels in the organization.
• Basic personal computer knowledge.
• Problem solving for intermediate level situations.

Math Skills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute ratios and percentages.

Other Skills and Abilities

• This position requires corrected eyesight of 20/20 and the ability to perform close hand-eye coordinated assembly work.
• Operation of various office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, and adding machines.
• Fair and consistent attitude when dealing with shift issues.

• Individual must be able to reach with arms extended and/or overhead, bend, stoop, stretch and similar activities.
