Job Description

• You will be responsible for acquiring, setting up, and operating laboratory equipment required for process development and scale-up of new products in paper additives and water treatment applications.

• You will also be responsible for conducting lab reactions, such as synthesis of water-soluble polymers, learning new analytical techniques, operating lab instrumentation, generating experimental data, performing data analysis, and reporting the results to principal investigators.

• You will conduct experiments using calorimetry, membrane separations, and other specialty equipment, and report results to principal investigator(s).

Qualifications

• You have a B.S. degree in a Scientific field of study, prior relevant lab experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.

• You have experience with execution of lab experiments and analytical methods.

• You have experience working with hazardous chemicals and the ability to comply with all safety protocols and procedures.

• You have experience with 5S methodology and its application to a lab setting.
