Experience in various domains will be valued in this position including IRB submissions; using TAC biosensors such as BACTrack Skyn in research; experience collaborating on NIH funded clinical trials and etiological research; data analysis (e.g., ability to analyze TAC data, evaluate long-term effects from clinical trial intervention studies, EMA data, intervention efficacy, etc.); designing or adapting, implementing, and evaluating brief technological interventions; evidence of securing NIH funding for a developing program of research; and writing NIH grants. Ability to maintain progress on several NIH funded grants simultaneously is important, including activities such as project administration, grant writing, and scholarly publishing.

The PRC is a prominent interdisciplinary research center in the College of Health and Human Development established in 1998 to foster research focused on developmental aspects of risk and prevention. Research projects in the PRC, many funded through NIH, range from etiologic studies to large-scale translation trials, examining how families, schools, and communities can work together to promote healthy lifestyles for children, youth, and families. Center faculty also develop clinical trials of innovative models to promote competence and prevent unhealthy outcomes for children, families, and communities, conduct rigorous research on the translation and dissemination of effective prevention programs in community settings, and conduct evaluation studies designed to inform policy within several state agencies. Review of applications and nominations will begin immediately and will continue to be accepted until the position is filled.
The Pennsylvania State University is committed to and accountable for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in all of its forms. We embrace individual uniqueness, foster a culture of inclusive excellence that supports both broad and specific diversity init
