Right at Home of Utah Valley is an award-winning non-medical in-home care and assistance company that serves seniors and disabled individuals in their homes. Excellent staff recruiting is an essential part of providing this high-quality care. This summer job opening is a rare chance to join our mission and serve amazing people. It is a temporary role from early April to early September 2026.

JOB SUMMARY  The Right at Home Recruiter actively sources talent through online, phone, and in-person interactions. We use an applicant tracking system (ATS) for much of this work. This position also works closely with our Operations Coordinator to ease the hiring process for candidates in the talent pipeline.  

GENERAL FUNCTIONS 
  • Manages job postings, applicant communications, and documents in the CareerPlug ATS. 
  • Makes outbound recruiting calls to effectively source, screen, and attract new caregiver talent. 
  • Successfully converts inquiries into appointments/interviews. 
  • Interviews, screens, and tests all applicants. 
  • Collects and maintains documentation of associate work records in SharePoint and ensures current and complete personnel records for all caregiver associates. 
  • Other general office, sales, and event functions as needed.

  • Verbal/Online Communication: Clear communication in 1:1 and group settings, conducts interviews, keeps team and candidates updated, shares sourcing strategies, engages with care staff for retention, manages referral rewards.
  • Creativity: Suggests innovative solutions, creates promotional materials, analyzes competitors, explores and tests diverse sourcing strategies.
  • Organization: Plans weekly recruiting tasks, evaluates recruiting sources, maintains CareerPlug records, ensures efficiency and audit-ready caregiver files.
  • Listening: Actively listens, shows empathy and patience, understands others’ perspectives, responds to specific needs.
  • Likability: Builds trust and rapport, nurtures candidate relationships, shows friendliness and respect, maintains warm relationships with care staff.
  • Tenacity: Pursues recruiting goals, finds new sourcing channels, overcomes challenges, driven to succeed, competes for market share.
  • Energy: Promotes employer brand, motivates applicants, shares ideas and data, represents agency publicly, shows enthusiasm and positivity, engages in professional development.
  • Selects “A” Players: Screens candidates, handles hiring and orientation, aligns with core values, makes objective hiring decisions, considers long-term impact, supports workforce diversity.
EDUCATION / SKILLS / ABILITIES / AVAILABILITY 
  • Strong communication, interviewing, and judgment skills
  • Experience in recruiting, telemarketing, sales, or staffing preferred
  • Familiar with applicant tracking systems (CareerPlug preferred)
  • Experience using Microsoft Office
  • Able to work independently and stay organized
  • Background in caregiving or healthcare office work is a plus
  • High school diploma required; some college preferred
WORKING ENVIRONMENT 
  • Works in the Provo office at least 10 hours per week for interviews and scheduled meetings. 
  • Otherwise, flexible online work hours as needed to respond to applicants in a timely manner.  
COMPENSATION 
  • Hourly pay: starting at $19-20/hour (DOE); paid time off accrues monthly.
  • Hours: 25-30/week depending on demand/number of applicants coming in.
  • Meals, drinks, and/or snacks are provided on in-office days.
