Network Administrator I Advanced Tech (Technology Management Services) - FT/80

Description

The Network Administrator I Advanced Tech will:

• Assist the Network Administrator II with information services support requests. 
• Help troubleshoot and maintain network hardware and software, and assist the department in analyzing and triaging hardware, Office 365 and e-mail requests. 
• Assist the Network Administrator II and Office 365 and Email Administrator with Active Directory, network connectivity and all network, email and Office 365 related tasks. 
• Install and maintain the IP Phone System and its related components. 
• Assist TMS techs with any tasks as assigned by the Director of TMS, including but not limited to computer equipment, facsimile machines and software. 
• Maintain a positive and customer service-oriented disposition. 
• Will maintain facilities and equipment in a condition that promotes efficiency and safety.

 On call rotation is required in this role. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in PC, business or computer related skills
• Two (2) years of relevant Network Administration and PC support experience
• Network+ Certification
• A+ Certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of network hardware and software 
• Knowledge of computer hardware configurations including: storage devices, printers, networking and related software 
• Self-motivated and functions independently
• Demonstrates problem-solving and problem-prevention skills. 
• Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
