BRIEF AGENCY DESCRIPTION: The Natural Resources Service Center is responsible for program accounting, cash management and revenue/expenditure control for state agencies that support and guide Maine’s natural resource-based economy. These agencies keep our state parks and public lands pristine, prevent and stop forest fires, map the ocean floor, protect the food we eat, enforce fishery, wildlife and environmental laws, register snowmobiles and enhance your enjoyment of the Maine outdoors from Baxter State Park in the north woods to the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray.
