The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Plant Engineering Supervisor (Royersford, Pennsylvania), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Leading the Maintenance work team to promote and work in a safe culture to complete and document preventive maintenance and other work orders in a timely manner for building and production equipment.
- Providing oversight to service providers that routinely provide maintenance services and provide technical assistance and training to technician staff.
- Support site and corporate EHS initiatives “Journey to Zero” culture through safety promotions and effective investigations
- Work with corporate EHS teams to ensure compliance to required regulatory, safety and environmental records are properly completed and submitted to correct parties on time
- Perform duties as a Capital Expenditure Manager, managing 3M Royersford capital expense hopper
- Lead sites automation projects by working with engineering to develop options as it relates to improving productivity
- Supporting 3M Corporate Resident Engineering in site project management and supporting Plant Manager in Operations and Strategic planning
- Work with all monitoring companies and respond (in kind) to needed events as defined in site BRP
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Associate’s degree/Technical Diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Three (3) years of Maintenance experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in maintenance or engineering discipline from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of Maintenance experience in an industrial setting in a private, public, government or military environment
- Skills include strong interpersonal skills to encourage individuals to perform at their highest potential. The successful candidate must have the ability to effectively diagnose problems with equipment and to adapt to changing environment and customer needs.

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic
