Role Overview The Senior Demand Generation Manager will own the strategy and execution of Built In’s demand engine, with a focus on driving qualified pipeline through inbound, outbound, paid, nurture, and product-led growth motions. This role is responsible for turning intent and engagement into sales-ready demand through automation, experimentation, and close alignment with sales and product.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can design systems, run programs, execute tactics and continuously optimize performance in a complex B2B buying environment.
What You Will Own- Design and operate the full-funnel demand generation strategy across inbound, outbound, paid, email, and Product Led Growth signals
- Plan, execute, and optimize outbound demand programs that deliver warm, sales-ready prospects
- Build and optimize automated lead qualification, scoring, routing, and nurture programs
- Partner closely with sales to ensure demand programs align to account priorities, readiness signals, and conversion goals
- Translate product usage and intent data into scalable lifecycle and outbound programs
- Monitor performance across channels and continuously test, learn, and improve conversion and velocity
- Collaborate with Marketing Ops to ensure clean data, accurate attribution, and scalable systems
What Success Looks Like
- Increased volume and quality of sales-ready leads
- Faster speed to lead and improved conversion through the funnel
- Reduced reliance on cold outbound sourcing
- Clear visibility into what is driving pipeline and revenue
- Strong alignment and trust with sales partners
- 5 to 7 years of B2B demand generation experience
- Proven success owning pipeline outcomes, not just channel execution
- Deep experience with marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, and lead management
- Strong paid media and experimentation background
- Comfort working with product signals and PLG-style inputs
- Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into action
- Experience partnering closely with sales and revenue teams
- Hands-on operator who can both design and execute
Our base salary range for this role is targeted at $145,000 to $160,000 per year. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, experience and work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
