About the Role:
Responsible for performing re-occurring and ad-hoc analysis, providing financial and operational insight to the Asset Management team by performing various budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting analyses.
What You Will Do:
- Collateral and Market Analysis – Advise and document values of current and potential financed assets. This includes market research on equipment trends and forecasts to determine accurate current and future values of equipment. This requires a strong knowledge of a wide range of asset types and an understanding of various finance structures. It also requires a strong understanding of secondary market performance for a wide variety of asset classes.
- Recommend Residual Values – For FMV leases (True FMV, FMV with Cap, FMV with EBO, TRAC, split-TRAC), analyze collateral and make recommendations for residual values used in Pricing. In addition to analyzing various types of collateral, this role will involve reviewing return and maintenance provisions for reasonableness.
- Assist in New Deal Pricing – This will involve working directly with Credit and Sales to review pricing for multiple financial products, including leases and loans. The goal of this task is to assist in facilitating competitive deal structures to drive new business volume and impact company growth.
- Mid-term and End of Term Pricing – Work directly with Sales and/or customers to provide various FMV purchase and lease renewal/extension options. This will include forecasting expected results and analyzing the economic impact that options will have on financial reporting.
- Remarketing Equipment - Assist with the remarketing of off-lease equipment through a combination of dealers, brokers, and end-users. This will include cultivating new relationships with third party remarketers and/or continuing to grow existing partnerships.
- Monthly Reporting – As needed, assist in running and analyzing monthly Portfolio and Residual Realization reports. The primary goal will be to identify trends by customer and equipment in order to facilitate future residual setting and aid in Mid-Term and End of Term Pricing.
- Annual True Lease Review – Assist in the annual ASC 842 True Lease Review. This may include sample selection and analyzing booked residuals to identify current FMV.
What You Will Need:
- Preferably, 5+ years’ experience in asset management
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent education and work experience
- A strong understanding of valuation methodologies and secondary market behavior for various asset classes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- A solid understanding of financial modeling
- Preferably, an understanding of superTRUMP and T-Value pricing calculators

Salary range: $69,098.54 – $127,614.10
The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your location during the hiring process. Ranges may be modified in the future.
