Responsibilities

Join the Workato Product and Engineering team as a Technical Writer Engineer Intern, where your primary focus will be supporting the documentation team, including projects such as enhancing the documentation creation toolchain and process, training LLMs, and data analysis/data engineering tasks. You will have the opportunity to develop valuable skills in creating technical documentation while contributing to larger-scale documentation initiatives. Collaborate closely with team members to improve user experience through clear and informative content.

• Assist the Documentation Team in creating clear and informative content that educates users on Workato's features and functionality.

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other team members to gather functional details and obtain technical reviews for documentation.

• Contribute to improving existing documentation by providing valuable feedback and recommendations.

• Participate in team initiatives to establish style and process guidelines for documentation creation.

• Occasionally contribute to internal documentation and provide input into tool and usability decisions.

• Perform data analysis and data engineering tasks as part of the role's responsibilities.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

• Pursuing a degree in technical writing, computer science, data engineering, or a related field.

• Familiarity with Markdown, JSON, text editors, and source code repositories (experience with GitHub preferred).

• Familiarity with Chatbots or Natural Language Processing is preferred.

• Strong ability to write clear and effective technical content tailored for developer audiences.

• Able to work independently and cross-functionally, with the capacity to quickly learn new skills.

• Comfortable interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Knowledge of technical writing standards and familiarity with common style guid
