We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Level Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering, at least 10 years of medical device design experience, and expertise in CAD design. A background in material science is preferred. Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in 1st principals as it relates to mechanical design, simulation, and sustainable materials. Responsibilities:

• Design and develop medical devices and equipment that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Conduct research and development activities to improve existing products and create new ones.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet customer needs and expectations.

• Use CAD software to create 3D models and 2D drawings of products.

• Perform engineering calculations and simulations to evaluate product performance and safety.

• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate project status and results.

• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and other quality assurance activities.

• Mentor and train junior engineers and other team members.

Qualifications:

• Masters required, Ph.D.preferred in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering.

• At least 10 years of medical device design experience.

• Expertise in CAD design.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience with material science is preferred.

• Expertise in 1st principals as it relates to mechanical design, simulation, and sustainable materials.

• Track record of publications, external presentations, or patents.

• Track record of new product development and financial acumen.
