The Sr. Technical Strategist role is critical for driving our organization's technological direction and ensuring alignment with our business goals. This position will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive technology strategies that drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive technology strategies aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to define technology priorities and initiatives.
• Market Research: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging technologies and trends. Stay ahead of industry developments to ensure our technology roadmap remains relevant and forward-thinking.
• Technology Evaluation: Analyze current technology infrastructure, identify gaps and opportunities, and propose strategic solutions to enhance performance and scalability.
• Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in executing strategic technology projects and initiatives. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex technological concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making across the organization.
• Resource Management: Provide expert guidance on technology investments, risk management, and resource allocation. Ensure optimal utilization of resources and maximum return on investment.
• Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Encourage experimentation and adoption of new technologies that enhance organizational capabilities.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously evaluate and refine technology strategies, adapting to changing business needs and technological advancements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Citizenship & Clearance: Must be a US Citizen. Must have Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain.

Education & Experience: BS and 15 years of experience in technology strategy, strategic planning, or a related field

Skills/Expertise:  Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale projects.

• Experience in the defense and technology solutions sector is highly desirable.
• Exceptional analytical skills and strategic thinking.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into actionable insights.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Ability to build consensus and drive collaboration across diverse teams and departments.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week.

Compensation: $139,000-208,000. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
