Senior Director of DOD Capture Management

The Sr. Director of Capture Management will oversee the capture team and efforts for PingWind Department of Defense (DoD) agency pursuits, with a primary focus on Army. The key objective is to improve PingWind’s Capture Excellence through process improvement, training, strategic thinking, and a disciplined capture approach. This role will lead the corporate capture process to develop a thorough understanding of the opportunity, customer, competition, and required technical solution and coordinate with the team to create winning proposals. Responsibilities Responsibilities include developing and leading the development and execution of winning strategies for complex and competitive opportunities within the federal market. The Sr. Director will oversee all capture efforts and grow and lead a team of capture managers. The Sr. Director will assist PingWind with maturing and defining our gate review processes. They will participate in milestone reviews and provide meaningful suggestions for enhancements of our capture strategies. The Sr. Director will develop thorough capture plans and drive the overall foundation for compelling win strategies, technical, and management approaches. Qualifications · DoD familiarity to include Air Force, Navy, COCOM. · Growth-minded individual with a minimum of 10 years’ experience with demonstrated success in managing federal government business development and capture teams. · Familiarity with DoD agencies and a proven track record of winning DoD work. · Experience winning large scale programs over $50M in the federal government. · Record of success pursuing multiple award vehicles (GWAC/MAC/BIC) valued greater than $500M. · Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a technical degree. · Demonstrated successes reflecting the ability to grow the business. · Familiarity and experience managing the pipeline and utilizing CRM tools such as Salesforce. · Demonstrated ability to work with senior business and government personnel and to provide leadership within the workplace. · Experience with competitive analysis and price to win discussions. · Experience developing account plans and capture plans for new business opportunities. · Proven individual BD and/or Capture experience with demonstrated wins.
