About the Job

The US-based salary range for this position is $292,427 to $368,000. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary - therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with the executive team and functional budget owners to provide operational analysis and reporting, align on long-term strategy, and drive operating efficiency and forecasting improvements (15%)
  • Oversee a team implementing a sophisticated cloud data warehouse for financial data analytics and reporting (10%)
  • Manage the data team’s efforts to ensure data architecture and reporting processes adhere to regulatory requirements, enhancing audit readiness and compliance (8%)
  • Supervise development of advanced data models that support US GAAP compliant financial reporting (8%)
  • Supervise development of advanced data models to streamline financial reporting and ensure SEC compliance (5%)
  • Build and scale corporate and business unit finance teams to support operational execution, accurate forecasting cycles, variance analysis, and risk identification (20%)
  • Support investor relations for US and Australian investors, including engagement with analysts and investors, regular reporting, and outreach in both the US and Australian markets (3%)
  • Drive strategic financial analyses and projects to support senior management and business decisions (5%)
  • Support corporate development execution, including mergers, acquisitions, and financing (5%)
  • Partner with the accounting team during month end close cycles to ensure reporting accuracy and performance vs. plan analysis (3%)
  • Manage key deliverables and assist senior management in preparing external communications (2%)
  • Advise on designing and managing complex data architecture within the cloud data warehouse (4%)
  • Enable data-driven decision-making by delivering comprehensive business intelligence solutions (4%)
  • Enhance financial decision-making through data analysis, predictive modeling, and insights that support strategic initiatives (5%)

What We’re Looking For

Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks:

  • At least two years of experience with Netsuite, Adaptive, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • At least two years of experience working for investment banks in both the US and Australia
  • Experience designing and constructing complex financial models to analyze operating performance and transactions
  • Experience with M&A and financing transactions
  • Experience imbedding data sets and presentations with PowerPoint
  • Experience with advanced Pivot table functionality in Excel and linking to other modeling tools
  • Experience working collaboratively across different functions and with senior executives
  • Experience in integration with Adaptive and Causal, and interaction of these tools with Netsuite
  • Experience with Databricks and Tableau
  • Experience integrating ERP and modeling tools with data warehouse applications
  • Experience communicating with Australian investors and analysts on a level playing field
  • Experience communicating with US investors and analysts on a level playing field
  • Experience with the Australian capital and regulat
