We are looking for a Sr. Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (FP&A) to lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning efforts. This role will partner with senior leadership to drive financial performance and support decision-making through in-depth analysis, financial modeling, and reporting. Please note that this role is a Hybrid role based in our Brooklyn, NY office: three days in office and two days remote.
What You'll Do
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, and provide regular reporting on financial performance, variances, and trends
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to leadership by analyzing revenue, expenses, and KPIs.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and decision-making.
- Partner with VP’s of Finance across organizations to optimize financial performance.
- Track and analyze agency revenue streams, music licensing deals, and content production costs.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for executives and stakeholders.
- Support in the consolidation of monthly financials, KPIs and variance analysis for inclusion in the board report.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for operational efficiency.
- Perform various ad-hoc analyses including variance analysis, sensitivities, and other requests from senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive benchmarks in music and advertising.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking, preferably in music, media, advertising, tech or entertainment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management experience, with a track record of successful process implementations.

Salary Hiring Range: $130,000 - $160,000
