Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Full-time 80/Day Shift (2 8hr shifts, 2 12hr shifts per week week) + EOW

Foxdale Village is a  Quaker inspired, non-profit continuing care retirement community (CCRC)  located in State College, PA. We are seeking Full-time 40 hr per week Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our dedicated and caring team. Opportunities available for all Shifts.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Duties include:

• Deliver direct care to residents according to an individualized plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressing, toileting, and transferring.
• Respond to call bells, safety devices, and resident requests in a timely manner.
• Accurately document resident care at electronic kiosks using Point Click Care.
• Identify and report changes in physical, psychological, and social well-being.
• Ability to professionally and politely interact with fellow Foxdale Team members, residents, and residents’ family members.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or its equivalent and completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program.

Experience: Prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred

Physical: Intermittent  physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, bending,  stooping, reaching, lifting at least fifty pounds (with assistance when  needed), and supporting the residents.

Training: Certification  from the Pennsylvania Department of Health or certification from a  state other than Pennsylvania with proof of transferring certification  to Pennsylvania. Possession of a valid CPR card is required.

Additional Requirements: Must possess strong attention to detail and time management skills.High school diploma or its equivalent and completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program.
