Restaurant Server

Join our vibrant team at Washington Duke Inn as a fine-dining Restaurant Server! You’ll be the welcoming face for guests, taking orders and delivering delicious dishes with enthusiasm. Your role involves presenting menus, making thoughtful recommendations, and ensuring a polished, inviting dining experience. Responsibilities:

• Provide quality service to all restaurant guests.  
• Provide efficient and friendly food and beverage service in the restaurant.
• Write guests checks to prescribed specifications and uses a computerized machine to pre-check items.
• Work as a team player.
• Complete all opening and closing duties.
• Assist with cleaning, stocking, and organization of restaurant items.

• 1-2 years of restaurant server experience preferred.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Developed English language skills (both written and orally) to communicate with other employees, guests, or vendors as needed.
• Fine Dining experience
• Wine knowledge
• Walking or standing to a significant degree.
• Knowledge of Point-of-Sale system
