Job Summary:
The Patient Success team is responsible for all patient support on their billing account including, but not limited to, taking payments, answering questions on the billing account, assisting patients with insurance questions and rebilling as needed! They play a vital role in delivering excellent service to patients and keeping our billing team moving in the right direction!
Detailed Functions/Key Differentiators:
Answer inbound patient phone calls as they come inManages Copay Collections and communicates with other departments, for any needs/patient reach outCreate Partner cases DailyWeekly posting of late cancelsDaily review of patient electronic communications and delegation as neededCreate and maintain billing ledgers for patients with specific requests for their insurancesAssist other teammates in larger projects as needed Learn/understand the basics of insurance billing: PPOs, HMOs, Medicare, Workers Comp to support the team and other teams as necessaryMaintains industry level working knowledge of medical billing occurring in LunaSupport Admin functionsQueue based work for their sole job function (authorizations, insurance payment posting, etc.)Achieves goals set by management Achieving daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals to patient payments and supporting documentation is completed Performs Ad Hoc tasks at managers discretion
Job Qualifications:Typically requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
