Description
The Department of Neurology at Yale School of Medicine seeks to hire a neurologist specializing in General Neurology and Multiple Sclerosis at the Rank of Assistant/Associate Professor.
The Yale MS Center is the world’s leading center for multiple sclerosis research and clinical care. Expert, fellowship-trained neurologists collaborate with experienced nurses, therapists, and social workers to care for patients at all stages of disease. Our state-of-the-art facilities in Greenwich, and Stamford, Conn. boasts easy parking and handicapped access. Advanced MRI scanners, a clinical laboratory, and an infusion center are on-site.
In addition to receiving expert clinical care, patients at the Yale MS Center have the opportunity to participate in the rich and vibrant culture of biomedical research at Yale. The Center is at the cutting edge of clinical MS research and participates in numerous clinical trials. Through our collaborative efforts with Human Translational Immunology and the Department of Immunobiology, patients also have the opportunity to contribute to basic research, which is fundamental to advancing our understanding of multiple sclerosis.
We seek motivated academics with clinical expertise in (1) the diagnosis and care of adult patients with MS and other autoimmune disorders, (2) participating in clinical trials, (3) teaching residents and fellows. Practice location will be in New Haven and Fairfield County. We provide a highly collaborative, supportive, and mentored environment that promotes specialists to pursue career growth within their specific area of interest. This position offers applicants an exciting opportunity for individual programmatic development and goal discovery across varied academic interests within our division.

Qualifications
Candidates must have an MD or equivalent, be board certified/board eligible in Neurology and have completed a fellowship in General and/or Multiple Sclerosis. Applicants must meet the criteria for medical licensure in the State of Connecticut. Faculty rank will be based on experience.
