We are seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Lead to join our Idaho Falls team. This leadership role is crucial to ensuring our clinical operations run smoothly, our team is supported and trained, and our patients receive outstanding care every visit.

Position Summary

The Clinical Coordinator oversees all clinical operations in the practice, including staff training, daily workflow, inventory control, compliance with clinical protocols, and communication between the clinical and administrative teams. This position is both hands-on and supervisory, supporting the doctor and clinical assistants in delivering high-quality orthodontic care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the clinical area, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to sterilization protocols.

  • Supervise, mentor, and train clinical team members; conduct regular performance feedback and coaching.

  • Schedule and delegate tasks to ensure optimal clinical flow and patient satisfaction.

  • Maintain and track inventory of supplies; manage ordering to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

  • Serve as liaison between clinical and front office staff to ensure smooth communication and patient transitions.

  • Assist chairside with orthodontic procedures as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and all regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new clinical staff.

  • Support and model exceptional patient care and service.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an orthodontic or dental clinical setting required.

  • 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures and clinical protocols.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with orthodontic/dental software (e.g., Dolphin, Cloud9) is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
