What the role is:


As an Associate HR Business Partner you develop and implement human resources activities across the North America region. You will help to build HR functional workflows, provide support to the Global HR Business partner team, and administer our policies and procedures within the North America region. You will collaborate closely with the North America HR team, reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, HRBP

Some details about what you will do:

  • Lend support to the HRBP’s on a variety of HR projects.

  • Assist in developing and executing HR procedures, policies, and workflows. This may include job requisition posting and performance management.

  • Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements

  • Maintain organizational staffing reports including but not limited to org charts, employment data reports, compliance reports and employee relation reports

  • Create, maintain and regularly audit employee files and HRIS database records generating reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance

  • Partner and support the HR team with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts

  • Responsible for daily HR administration, provide data for Smartsheet entries for all systems where applicable

  • Ensure legal compliance applicable to employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in human resources

  • Excel and technical experience a plus

  • Diploma/Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures with a thirst to research and understand HR trends

  • Knowledge of all major categories of employment types of relationship, including employee relations, safety and work environment, statistical analysis, (workers compensation and benefits will be considered a plus).

  • Strong verbal and written communication and people skills

  • High proficiency in working with data, including pulling reports, completing VLOOKUP’s, creating pivots, which enable you to interpret and present the information

  • HRIS system experience

  • Knowledge of Labor Relations is a plus

  • Confidentiality – understanding and respecting the requirements that come with this position

Desirable and preferred skills:

  • Organized, detail-oriented and resourceful

  • Experience with prioritization, multi-tasking and problem solving

  • Customer (people) service focused

  • Excellent English, multi-language candidates preferred
