We are on the lookout for an Assistant Program Director (APD) to join our team in Rohnert Park, CA.
If you're a natural leader with at least 1 year of supervisory experience plus 2 years of working in the Human Services field, this role is for you!

Job Description
The Assistant Program Director is responsible for supporting the operations of the Rohnert Park Day Services Program. As the APD, you’ll be the right-hand person to the Program Director, helping to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant day program. Your key responsibilities include:
- Lead & Inspire: Mentor a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and foster a growth-oriented environment.
- Build Community Connections: Develop partnerships with local organizations to provide individuals with real-world opportunities to volunteer, engage, and learn life skills.
- Crafting Creative Programs: Design engaging workshops that promote independence and skill-building.
- Ensure Smooth Operations: Manage schedules, assist with staff training, oversee transportation, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Acting as a Champion: Advocate for the well-being and independence of those we support, working closely with families, case managers, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications
Who We're Looking For:

- Experienced in Supervision: At least 1 year of leadership experience, with strong decision-making and communication skills.
- Skilled in Human Services: At least 2 years in the field (experience in psychology, mental health, or community development is a plus!).
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but we value experience and passion in lieu of a degree.
- Creative & Solution-Oriented: Able to think outside the box, build relationships, and tackle challenges.
- Growth-Oriented: Excited about professional development and eager to foster independence for the individuals we support.
- Resilient and Positive: Comfortable working with individuals with moderate to high behavioral challenges.
- Community-Focused: Eager to foster an inclusive, team-driven environment.
- Must have a valid California driver’s license
