Dartmouth Health is looking for full-time Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapists who want to work in a fast-paced critical care environment with a high degree of autonomy using a multitude of respiratory driven protocols. We are offering the opportunity to work at an academic medical center in a rural environment. Qualified candidates must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). New graduates are welcome to apply and obtain their RRT within six months of hire.

In addition to performing all duties associated with an adult RCP, job code 400828, the Pediatric Specialist RCP must maintain competencies, training, and knowledge directly associated with pediatric and neonatal critical care. The PEDI-RCP will provide care in all CHAD areas including but not limited to: Intensive Care Nursery, Pediatric ICU, Pediatric Specialty Care, Birthing Pavilion, and Emergency Department.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Registered Respiratory Therapist via the NBRC
- Minimum of 2 years working in adult critical care or previous neonatal/pediatric critical care experience
Required Licensure/Certifications
- Licensed in NH as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification upon hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification within 6 months of hire date.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Certification within 6 months of hire date.
