Job Description

The role

The Issuing Team builds products that leverage a proprietary technology to issue payment cards with the mission to provide innovators with the tools to build innovative payment solutions.

In a squad of 4 Full Stack Software Engineers, you'll be exposed to the entire software development process of our Issuing product. You'll work on the specification, design, coding, testing and deployment of various solutions (scripts, APIs and UIs) within a Javascript environment.

You'll have the opportunity to maintain the Continuous Integration and Infrastructure of those solutions, and to work closely with Product and Design.

We're working on a modern stack including NodeJS, Typescript, React, Jest, AWS, Elasticsearch, Terraform, Datadog and more… We also follow modern CI/CD and agile methodologies to deploy into production several times a week.

We're looking for a great teammate who enjoys working with Product teams to build great products, who is not afraid to conduct complex technical discoveries and communicate with other teams from all over the world, and who firmly believes in creating clean and testable code.

How you’ll make an impact

• Design, develop, and deliver new features on our RESTful API and Event Driven services.

• Maintain, develop and deliver new features within our UIs.

• Collaborate with globally distributed and multidisciplinary teams.

• Participate to requirements identification and in producing specifications.

• Create and maintain a development environment for efficient testing and integration.

• Help define Acceptance Criteria for the feature you build and test them End to End.

• Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

• Contribute and adhere to coding standards, best practices, and procedures.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

• Several years of experience in Javascript, particularly with Back End development (we use NodeJS).

• Good experience with Front End development with ReactJS.

• Solid experience with Typescript.

• Good experience in Software Design Architecture and Event Driven Architecture.

• Strong experience with at least one Javascript testing framework (we use Jest and Cypress).

• Good knowledge of automated testing (unit, integration, e2e…)

• Strong interest for tooling, Continuous Integration and Deployment workflows.

• Agility and proficiency in conducting Technical Discoveries.

• Good communication skills and enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams.

• You enjoy helping other engineers in the team.

• Fluent in English.

• Knowledge in the payment ecosystem is a plus.
