Job Purpose and Overview
The Cyber Security Manager leads the cyber security team, projects, and policies at Dawn. This includes managing staff, leading projects, drafting documentation, and leading Dawn to a best practice model for cyber security at Dawn. This also will include managing diverse teams through security incidents and investigations.
Work Environment & Travel Requirements: This is a hybrid role at our Home Office in Jackson, Michigan with requirements to be in the office 5 days per month or as needed with up to 10% travel. To be considered for this role you must reside in Jackson, MI, or surrounding areas.
What will you do as a Cyber Security Manager at Dawn Foods?
- Defining and Scoping IT Security requirements, creating and executing IT and Data Security strategies, and enhancing the reliability and security of Dawn IT systems, projects, and data.
- Manage teams delivering secure and robust IT solutions to identified problems.
- Manage the creation of vulnerability audits, penetration tests, forensic IT investigations, and related outcomes improving overall IT Security.
- Manage external services related to cyber security.
- Reporting to senior management, key stakeholders, programmers, and other risk-assessment professionals will likely be a key part of this role.
- Stays current with new threats and technologies.
- Assist with compliance with necessary legislation, such as the Data Protection Act and other government regulations.
- Manage security awareness training and testing programs.
