Quality Support Specialist - Pharmacy Technician

At the direction of Director of Quality and Process Improvement, coordinates the presentation of our Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement Plan outcomes and assists in Ministry performance improvement/quality activities and medication safety efforts. At the direction of Directors of Pharmacy Operations and Director of Quality and Process Improvement, completes audits on an ongoing basis to verify correctness, completeness, and conformance to standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree - Health-related field or two years work experience may be substituted for each year of formal education.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Quality Improvement experience in healthcare/social service agency setting.
• Change Acceleration Process Experience. Can be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Experience with EMR.
• Experience with report writing software.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
