UEFA EUROS 2024 RETAIL OPERATIONS
Fanatics Assistant Venue Manager
With Germany as the host country for the UEFA Euro 2024 Tournament, Fanatics will require Assistant Venue Managers to support the Venue Manager with onsite day to day retail operations at both the Stadium, as well as the Fan Zones, within the host city. Collectively the Venue Team will together prepare, coordinate, and lead the onsite staff to ensure an efficient and effective operation that delivers against targets whilst ensuring the possible Fan experience for football fans and spectators.
Role Purpose:
You will be responsible for helping the Venue Manager in delivering the on-site retail operations in respective City. These tasks and responsibilities will include
• Work alongside UEFA counterparts to deliver best in class on-site retail operations at Venue & Fan Zone
• Collaborate with the Venue Manager on all critical matters (Logistics, IT, Finance, Merchandising…) to ensure smooth running of all retail locations at all times
• Work with supporting contractors to deliver efficiently and on time
• Provide best practice to ensure stockrooms and shops are managed efficiently
• Drive KPI’s including conversion and AOV
• Oversee stock management & movements including: prepare for stock deliveries at any point during the tournament, distribution to relevant location, security and stock integrity, waste & soiled goods
• Deliver first class visual merchandising and consistently do so during the events ensuring that stock levels are kept balanced between units
• Dismantling and breaking down of all points of retail post event
Attributes/Knowledge/Experience
• Full availability to be outside of the UK from 10/06/2024 to 16/07/2024 i.e. 5 consecutive weeks including weekends
• 2+ years’ experience working within store management or event retail, preferably within the sports industry
• Flexible working with ability to remain focused
• Good leader – ability to balance staff and business needs simultaneously
• Team player
• Builds and sustains excellent relationships with external promoters, contractors, and internal stakeholders
• Multilingual capabilities desired but not essential (German & English)
