Job Overview

LPL Financial is seeking a Vice President to join our Business Design & Solutions team within the Client Success organization. This role will lead strategic initiatives in advisor compensation and advisory fee billing, aligning business objectives with Product and Technology roadmaps to deliver scalable, compliant, and insight-driven solutions that enhance advisor engagement and drive firm growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Domain Leadership

  • Partner with Strategic Leads and Domain Accountables to shape and execute the advisor compensation and advisory fee billing strategy.
  • Define and communicate guiding principles across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Collaborate with Operations, Product, Technology, Finance, and Business Development to align compensation pricing models with system capabilities and strategic goals.
  • Drive integration of Personalization and Strategic Data across compensation reporting and advisory billing platforms.

Insights & Strategic Analysis

  • Analyze advisor compensation models to inform strategic decisions and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Develop frameworks that improve advisor engagement, transparency, and business performance.

Documentation & Strategic Communication

  • Document business capabilities, use cases, and guiding principles to support development and execution.
  • Create executive-level materials to communicate strategy, rationale, and impact.

Governance & Risk Management

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to delivery and execution of related initiatives.

Scalability & Future-State Planning

  • Ensure systems and processes are designed with flexibility to support future enhancements and growth.

Success Metrics & Performance Monitoring

  • Define and track KPIs to measure effectiveness and adoption.
  • Provide regular reporting to executive leadership on milestones, advisor impact, and continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience demonstrating strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities in product management, management consulting, corporate strategy, or program management—preferably within financial services, wealth management, or FinTech.
  • Experience working with large wealth management institutions and driving growth through strategic partnerships.
  • Experience within the wealth management industry across both Independent and Employee based models.

Preferences

  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Preferred candidate will be local to an LPL corporate office.


 

Pay Range:

$142,875-$238,125/year
