Cybersecurity Strategies Specialist

As an employee within the Development Track, you will continually and proactively participate in learning activities to enhance and apply your developing expertise in the technical capability of Cybersecurity Engineering.

Duties

• This position will be onsite at Ft Belvoir and may require up to 5% travel.
• Supporting the implementation of cybersecurity initiatives and reviews of security capabilities.
• Researching current technologies to understand capabilities of required systems or networks, and proactively identifying significant cybersecurity challenges to be addressed.
• Evaluating security controls using different software.
• Actively engaging with and supporting systems architects and developers, as needed, to develop and design solutions.
• Conducting risk analyses, feasibility studies, and/or trade-off analyses to develop, document, and refine recommendations for functional requirements and customer specifications.

Requirements

• Active US Government Clearance at Top Secret level with SCI eligibility.
• IAM/IAT Level III certified.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Certification in cybersecurity.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity.
• Reliable transportation.
