Loan Officer Assistant - Join Our Team!

 

Postion location: In-office at our Franklin, TN location. 

 

Are you a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual looking to advance your career in the mortgage industry? We're seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to provide crucial support to our Loan Officers, ensuring a seamless loan process from application to closing.

 

What You'll Do:

• Support Loan Officers: Prepare loan packages, collect and review documentation, follow up on missing items, open escrow accounts, coordinate inspections and appraisals, determine insurance needs, pre-qualify customers using AUS, and collaborate with processors and escrow officers.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Answer inquiries, communicate loan progress to customers, agents, and title companies, and schedule closings.
• Provide General Support: Maintain databases, assist with marketing, stay updated on market trends and products, and handle administrative tasks.
• Contribute to a Positive Team Environment: Participate in team efforts, uphold company values, and contribute to a collaborative and fun workplace.

What You'll Need:

• 1+ years of related experience, preferably in mortgage lending or sales.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment, analyzing data, managing relationships, problem-solving, and making sound decisions.
• Familiarity with retail loan origination and Encompass360.
• Strong understanding of mortgage lending processes, regulations, and various loan programs (Conventional, FHA, USDA, VA).
• Knowledge of mortgage-related terms (escrow, taxes, closing documents, insurance).
