How Will You Make an Impact?

As an Assistant Supervisor at our Monument, CO facility, you will support the daily execution of production operations and help drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth production flow while leading initiatives that promote continuous improvement, proper staffing, training compliance, and adherence to operational standards. Your leadership will directly impact the efficiency and success of our manufacturing teams.

On-site at our Monument, CO facility.

What Will You Do?

  • Assist in coordinating production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality to optimize utilization of people, equipment, and materials.
  • Review production, quality, maintenance, and operations reports to identify issues and support corrective actions.
  • Support efforts to minimize scrap and reduce MRO usage.
  • Ensure workstations remain clean, organized, and aligned with 6S and operational expectations.
  • Implement methods and procedures that eliminate production problems and improve performance metrics.
  • Monitor production metrics and complete the daily scorecard; drive improvements in defects per million (DPM).
  • Ensure operators understand and follow applicable policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Ensure proper stocking and availability of operational supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and promote a safe working environment.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate assigned production operations.
  • Ensure execution of production schedules based on Workcell Manager commitments.
  • Drive the Day‑by‑the‑Hour process during assigned shift.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure staffing levels meet monthly targets.
  • Hold team members accountable for quality, production, and attendance expectations.
  • Ensure team training compliance in ComplianceWire and Workday.
  • Complete timecard management responsibilities accurately and on time.
  • Promote cross-training across high‑volume lines and throughout the department.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned EHSIP tasks.
  • Verify quality standards are met and manage nonconformance actions through ETQ.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive 6S within the team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Financial and analytical competency, with the ability to interpret production data, identify trends, and drive improvement.
  • Proven success in implementing change management strategies, productivity initiatives, and cost‑reduction efforts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and general computer skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and support a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant production, operations, or leadership experience.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

The pay range for this role is $65,900 - $118,600. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
