About the role

Schedule:
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with rotating weekends.

Position Overview:
Join our Environmental Services team and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role is essential to patient safety and infection prevention, ensuring high-quality cleaning and sanitizing throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, clinics, and public spaces
  • Apply disinfection protocols in high-acuity clinical and procedural areas
  • Remove hazardous and biohazardous waste in compliance with safety regulations
  • Operate approved cleaning tools and light floor equipment
  • Communicate and collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care flow

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
  • No previous experience required—training provided!
  • Must be able to wear protective equipment (gowns, gloves, goggles, closed-toe shoes)
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, squat, lift/carry up to 35 lbs. or more up to 80% of the time
  • Ability to climb ladders and operate floor-cleaning equipment
  • Requires the ability to clean areas that require technical cleaning including IR/Cardiac Cath/Mother-Baby/NICU/OR/ED.
