The Importance of the Role

Career Level Technician – Executes tasks autonomously, works with wide latitude for independent judgement and prioritization with minimal supervision.

The Opportunity to Make a Difference

• Under minimal supervision executes routine and non-routine tasks that are within functional area of responsibility
• Mentors and guides more junior technicians.
• Learns from others and can independently learn, troubleshoot basic and moderately advanced systems.
• Completes work requests, preventative maintenance tasks within CMMS and can write own preventative maintenance schedules or work requests.
• Works cross functionally with other departments and empowered to understand scope of decisions within their control.
• Manages outside vendors and their work within building.
• Manages and maintains equipment files in accordance with SOPs and schedules.

More about You

• Ability to plan and execute facilities work using diagrams, drawing, maintenance manuals, and tools.
• Able to troubleshoot equipment including electronic controls systems.
• Electrical and pneumatic systems operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong aptitude managing multiple projects and priorities.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Very organized
• HVAC/Electrical or other Trade License preferred.
• Associate’s degree or higher in a related field preferred.
• 4-7 years of experience in Facilities/Maintenance
