Role Summary:
As a Customer Success Manager and Andesite, you will be one of the first hires shaping the Customer Success function from the ground up. This is a highly impactful, hands-on role where you will partner directly with Security Operations teams to drive adoption, demonstrate value, and influence the evolution of our product.
You will own the full post sales customer journey - from onboarding through long-term success, all while helping define the processes, playbooks, and feedback loops that will scale Customer Success at Andesite.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, enjoys working closely with technical security teams, and is excited to build as much as they operate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the customer lifecycle: Lead customers through onboarding, implementation, adoption and ongoing success, ensuring time-to-value is fast and measurable
- Partner with SOC Teams: Work directly with analysts, engineers, and security leaders to operationalize Andesite within their workflows.
- Drive Adoption and Value: Ensure customers are actively using the platform and realizing tangible outcomes tied to their security objectives.
- Act as a Trusted Advisor: Engage with both technical stakeholders and security leadership, aligning Andesite to their operational and strategic goals.
- Identify Risk & Expansion Opportunities: Proactively manage account health, mitigate risk, and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Build the CS Function: Help define onboarding frameworks, success plans, health scoring and customer engagement models from scratch.
- Close the Feedback Loop: Partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate customer needs into actionable product insights.
- Support Technical Integrations: Guide customers through integrations (APIs, data sources, workflows) and troubleshoot as need
Qualifications:
- Customer Success Experience: 3-6+ years in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or similar customer-facing roles in the SaaS environment. Must have owned post-sales relationships end to end.
- Security Domain Experience: Experience working with cybersecurity products or teams - ideally with exposure to SOC workflows, detection/responses or security operations.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable working with APIs, integrations, and troubleshooting technical issues alongside customer teams. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be technically fluent.
- Builder Mindset: Experience in early-stage startups or building new processes / functions. Comfortable with ambiguity and creating structure where none exists.
- Executive & Technical Communication: Ability to engage credibly with SOC analyst as well as CISOs or security leadership
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with or supporting SOC teams (e.g SIEM, SOAR, detection engineering, threat intelligence workflows).
- Background in high-growth or early stage startups.
- Familiarity with modern security stacks and tooling.
- Experience influencing product direction through customer feedback.
Why this Role is Different:
- You are not inheriting a playbook - you are building it.
- You will have direct influence on product direction and customer strategy.
- You will work with highly technical security teams solving real challenges
What We Can Offer:
- A competitive salary, bonus, and equity package
- 100% employer paid, comprehensive health insurance including medical, dental, and vision for you and your family
- Unlimited PTO, with your manager’s approval
- Flexible work environment where you manage your workday
- A remote-first environment, with occasional travel to collaborate with customers, your team, and teammates from across the company in person
- 14 weeks of fully-paid parental leave
