Position Summary
Quality Inspector II performs quality control inspections, checks, and test during the manufacture of products. Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production. Being a Quality Inspector II records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
Essential Job Functions
- Reads test schedules, work orders, and performance specifications to determine audit procedure
- Inspects completed assemblies for proper configuration in allotted time
- Records audit results and notes assembly deficiencies
- Tags and tallies all defective material
- Creates Quality Incident reports for nonconforming product
- Quarantines damaged and malfunctioning components
- Confers with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding audit procedures and results to resolve problems
Qualifications
Qualifications
- One to three years technical experience
- Works under moderate supervision
Education:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Ability to properly read work orders, blueprints, and schematics
- Basic computer and windows skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of game testing/configuration fundamentals
