Looking for a Public Safety Systems Naval District Washington (NDW) Regional Lead opportunity at a place you can make a difference every day? Serco supports the US Navy as a prime for their Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Ashore Program Global Sustainment Contract (GSC). Our team provides both preventive and corrective maintenance services to Navy installations worldwide as required to sustain AT/FP Ashore Program systems.

 

You will oversee the life-cycle sustainment of Public Safety Systems (PSS) equipment and assets worldwide. This role involves managing the operational availability, preventive and corrective maintenance, cybersecurity compliance, and overall system performance of PSS Program Systems/Equipment.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Provide technical and managerial assistance on all aspects of project management from inception through completion.
  • Attend meetings and make presentations about project plans, status, schedules, and work commitments.
  • Work closely with Customers, other Serco Team Members, and Sub Contractors to offer innovative and established solutions.
  • Identify replacement parts and equipment, will order, track and schedule repairs
  • Evaluates, develops, or implements procedures regarding project documentation and development.
  • Troubleshoots technical problems and takes corrective action.
  • Ensures training of all staff members and instructs them on customer’s methods, procedures, and standards.
  • Participates in long-range planning, analysis, and program design.
  • Participates in the planning and design of new projects as requested.
  • Oversee the repair of various PSS products/equipment and will manage and coordinate Field Service Technicians in the continued sustainment efforts consisting of minor and major repairs as well as restorative system upgrades to electronic, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical equipment and systems including but not limited to:
    • Intrusion Detection Systems at Naval Munitions Commands
    • Mass Notification Systems, Giant Voice/Indoor Voice
    • Access Control Systems
    • CCTV Video Surveillance Camera and Recording Systems
    • Physical Security/Access Control Systems
    • Automated Vehicle Gates
    • Automated Personnel Turnstiles
    • Final Denial Barriers and Crash Beams
    • Other Public Safety Systems

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A high school diploma/GED
  • 6+ years' of related technical experience
  • Possesses significant communication (including briefing/presentation) and networking skills, including familiarity with virtual tools
  • Ability to obtain an Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Up to 25% travel

Additional desired experience and skills:

  •  Experience of creating products and working in Microsoft Office Suite- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel (data types, formulas and functions in the workbooks), Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
  •  Microsoft Offices to include Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

 

 

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $85,032.41 to $141,720.69; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
