Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

- Support Northrop Grumman’s Missile Defense Solutions (MDS) Business Unit with engineering and project management activities for weapon systems.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM Computer Science, Physics, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of related work experience or a Master’s degree in a related STEM discipline and 6 years of related work experience, or PhD in a related STEM discipline with 4 years of related work experience
- Applicants must have a current active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and integrating large-scale weapon system facility infrastructure systems (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system designs).
- Demonstrated experience integrating large-scale custom designed and fabricated structures with commercially designed components.
- Ability to travel for extended periods to customer locations to support installation, integration, and test events.
