Senior Biomedical Engineer

Job Description

Performs investigative research in the field of computational neuroscience modeling. Publishes and presents data; collaborates with other Investigators and Scientists in facilitating scientific research. Participates in various types of institute and community activities.

Job Responsibility

 

• Conducts science, technology, and research and development experiments in human-machine interface technologies. 
• Develops computational/theoretical models of neural (signal) processing and analysis techniques. 
• Performs statistical modeling studies for select research projects. 
• Interprets data, prepares reports and presents analyses to leadership for review. 
• Maintains computer software and servers. 
• Attends scientific and technical meetings, build and maintain databases, work with computer software, integrating all systems as needed. 
• Participates in the writing of abstracts, manuscripts and grant applications. 
• Operates under limited guidance and work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Job Qualification

 

• Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.
