As a Solutions Engineering/Analytics Intern in Last Mile at RXO, you’ll learn the ins and outs of supporting new and existing clients by developing reports, pricing solutions, creating dashboards and providing insights through data analysis. What your day-to-day will look like:

• Assist with researching transportation and logistics solutions and improving efficiencies
• Gain understanding and experience with functional areas of transportation and logistics
• Participate in projects in the areas of logistics, client pricing models, network design, transportation and optimization
• Research data related to mode/carrier selection, shipment tracking and the measurement of customer service and carrier performance
• Gain real world knowledge of various software programs, including Power BI, Oracle, Microsoft Excel, and Salesforce

What you’ll need to excel:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent, and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree

It’d be great if you also have:

• Education toward a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management of Information Systems with Business Intelligence focus or related field
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
• Solid organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• High energy work style with a solid drive to succeed
• Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment; able to consult with team members and management as needed
