As part of a diverse and hardworking team of professionals, specialists, and engineers, you will support Subcontract activities based on Specification and Development Fluid Systems Commodities (Valves, Manifolds, Regulators & Reservoirs) in support of all Blue Origin Program for strategic procurement solutions for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of supply chain operations, driving organizational and compliant policy change to enhance Blue Origin’s bottom-line.
Our Supply Chain Subcontracts Administrator will ensure program requirements are appropriately prioritized and executed to meet the needs of Blue Origin. They will be competent in Fluid System Commodities buys/negotiations, reading of specifications, supplier management, Blue Origin Supply Chain compliance standards, strategies, and initiatives. They have, excellent oral and written skills, solid communication skills and very strong negotiation and task management skills. They also have experience preparing and issuing Requests for Proposal/Quote) (RFP & RFQ), performing cost price analysis in support of proposals, sole/single source justifications, experience examining should cost models, and have developed negotiation strategies and led formal negotiations and presentations related to proposal review boards. They are experienced in constructing/managing various contracting types for major procurement activities to meet the requirements of the programs and needs of the business to include continuous improvement initiatives, and identification of opportunities for enhanced efficiencies. They will support the overall procurement organization’s strategic direction and ensure corporate strategic objectives are achieved to include delivery of production materials that are on time, within budget and meet technical performance requirements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience, Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related industry experience.
- Experience with subcontracting of products and services of varying degrees of technical and contractual complexity
- Significant understanding of US Government and non-US Government / Commercial acquisitions
- Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Experience with most Contract Types (Firm-Fixed Price, Time & Material, Cost Plus)
- Experience in assessing proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)
- Experienced supporting DCMA Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) events.
- Technical Knowledge of Spec and Development Valves, Manifolds, Reservoirs, Regulators, Quick Disconnects and Actuators
- Experience in review of Technical Statement of Work (SOW)
- Maintain compliant and accurate files and data records.
- Strong analytical skills, data driven with experience in establishing and tracking program metrics
- Interprets and applies company, policies, procedures, work instructions, business standards and U.S. government regulations, i.e., FAR, DFAR, SOX Compliance.
- Create and maintain systems and processes to streamline operations.
- Ensure timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the supply chain department.
- Must have top notch people and communication skills.
- Working understanding of AS9100 standards.
- Knowledge of Engineering Data such as specifications & source control drawings.
- An eagerness to identify opportunities, find solutions, execute plans, and evaluate results critically
