Job Description

The Environmental Services (EVS) Associate aides in maintaining a high quality standard of housekeeping. This includes performing cleaning functions in assigned areas while following assigned schedules and specific methods to provide patients, visitors, and staff with a sanitary, orderly, and safe patient care environment. EVS Associates aid in prevention of cross contamination, controlling bacteria, odor, and sustaining acceptable aseptic conditions. They may assist with moves, recycling, delivery of supplies, and the removal of trash and biohazard waste. Establishes and maintains clean, sanitary, and safe environment in assigned work areas by following departmental policies and procedures

Education: High School Graduate or equivalent preferred. AND Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in housekeeping or cleaning in a healthcare environment preferred but not required

Salary Range

$17.00 to $20.63

The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.
